1) Mission-Aligned Use
The site exists to advance our nonprofit mission: providing solar energy solutions, education, and innovation to underprivileged communities and disaster-affected areas so they experience energy independence, resilience, and an improved quality of life. You agree to use the Site only for lawful, non-commercial purposes consistent with that mission.
2) No Professional, Technical, or Engineering Advice
All content is provided for general information and educational purposes. We do not provide engineering, legal, financial, electrical, or technical advice. See our Disclaimer.
3) Accounts & Submissions
If you submit information through the Site (including contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, volunteer interest, partnership requests, or program inquiries):
- You confirm the information is accurate and that you have the right to submit it.
- You grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and review it to operate and improve our programs.
- We may remove, review, or reject submissions at our discretion.
4) Donations; Recurring Gifts; Refunds
- Donations support our mission and general operations.
- Recurring gifts continue until you cancel (you can cancel through the link in your receipt or by contacting us).
- If a restricted initiative becomes fully funded, we may reallocate funds to the closest related program need.
5) Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, the Site and its content are owned by Brighter Community Solar Foundation or used with permission.
You may share or link to our content for non-commercial, educational use with attribution and without modification.
Any other use requires our prior written consent.
6) Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate laws or infringe others’ rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, scrape at scale, or introduce malware.
- Use the Site to advertise or sell goods, services, or unverified claims about solar technology.
- Misrepresent affiliation with Brighter Community Solar Foundation.
